# 500 Internal Server Error

 * I dont know what could be wrong but during the instalation the site broke down&
   now I have a 500 error.

 * Now I cannot access the Dashboard anymore. What could be wrong? Theres is any
   way to restore this mess ?

 * Yes, this is very simple: Use FTP or your web host control panel file manager
   and delete the .htaccess file in your website root folder and the .htaccess file
   in your wp-admin folder.

 * Just an FYI – Your Apache Server version is EOL (reached End Of Life): Apache/
   1.3.42 Server. Ask your Host to move you to another Server with a current version
   of Apache installed. This may or may not be related to the problem with installing
   BPS, but should be done either way.
