# Internal Server Error

 * When I updated the plugin, my website went down and I received the error below.
 * Internal Server Error
    The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration
   and was unable to complete your request. Please contact the server administrator,
   and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done
   that may have caused the error. More information about this error may be available
   in the server error log.
 * So I deleted the plugin and now this error shows up in WordPress.
 * files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove/
   hermes/bosnaweb16a/b2137/ipg.jjimageconsulting/wp-content/object-cache.php.

 * Yup – had the same issue. You have to disable the plugin and that part as well
   in order to return functionality to your site.

 * My site is using PHP 5.3.
 * I’m not that technical although managed to disable the plugin via File Manager
   but couldn’t find the line /hermes/bosnaweb16a/b2137/ipg.jjimageconsulting/wp-
   content/object-cache.php

 * So that would just be the object-cache.php drop-in which is in the wp-content
   folder of your site.
