# Internal Server Error – HELP!

 * I am tired of getting the following message after clicking around on a few links
   on my website:
 * “Internal Server Error
 * The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to
   complete your request.
    Please contact the server administrator, [support@supportwebsite.com](https://wordpress.org/support/topic/internal-server-error-help-3/support@supportwebsite.com?output_format=md)
   and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done
   that may have caused the error.
 * More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
 * Apache/1.3.33 Server at chriskadet.com Port 80″
 * I know this has something to do with the .htaccess file, but I don’t know what
   to do with it. Please help me, as I am running 4 websites on my hosting.

 * If that’s the only error, then it sounds like PHP is having some trouble. You
   should contact your hosting provider.
