# Internal Server error – JSON

 * Hi guys,
 * I have just updated the plugin, and I still have the PRO version 1.3.9 and the
   new template plugin pro 2.5.6. As soon as I enable the free version I get errors
   on my checkout page.
 * I have enabled debug mode and it says Unexpected token < in JSON at position 
   0 on the page itself and then inside the Chrome Dev Tools it says ‘ Unable to
   fix malformed JSON
    ‘
 * I have deleted the free version of the plugin and reinstalled it but made no 
   difference.
 * What else can I try to resolve this?

 * Hello Jhorene,
    The latest version of Pro is 2.2.2 (latest Premium Templates 
   is indeed 2.5.6), so a first good step is to update that to the latest version
   first so see if that resolves the issue.
 * If you still get that error, in the browser console you could go to the network
   tab and check the response of the request that returns the JSON error – this 
   will most likely have a PHP error in it. Alternatively you could check your PHP
   error logs if you have access to it.
