# Invalid API token provided

 * when i paste the API Token and click save i get “Invalid API token provided”.
 * If i search in the Chrome Console i see:
 * Request URL: [https://mywebsite.it/wp-json/surecart/v1/settings?_locale=user](https://mywebsite.it/wp-json/surecart/v1/settings?_locale=user)
   
   Request Method: POST Status Code: 401 Remote Address: 116.203.20.190:443 Referrer
   Policy: no-referrer-when-downgrade`
 * How can solve ?

 * I think you may be pasting an incorrect API.
 * You can find your API key in the Developers tab. Here’s a screenshot for your

 * No, that wasn’t the issue here, I was pasting the right API token, I was even
   creating several new ones and still the same.
 * In fact, you’ve just rolled out a new plugin update that fixes only one issue,
   which is this one, hehehe.
