Yes that could definitely play a role in this. Have you tried clearing all your caching already during the processing of your feeds to see if that increases the processing percentages?

I doubt those errors have anything to do with your feed issues. Still sounds like it is somehow effected by caching or a wp-cron issue. Is it still processing or on ‘ready’ now?
