hi, have you already requested for the license key? if yes,there are a few things you can check if you still getting this error: 1.just make sure you are requesting the license key from the same browser or session used in your WordPress admin and if you requested more than 24hrs ago,try again.
2.manually copying and pasting the license key from the email instead of using automatic activation might also help
3. url mismatch so make sure you verify that your WordPress Site URL and Home URL match correctly and are accessible publicly.

If you have a Wordfence.com account, you can generate a Free license from our licenses page (https://www.wordfence.com/licenses), using the Get A Free License button in the top right portion of the page.
Please try that, and if you continue to see an error, email us at [email protected]. Please include your forum username in the subject line, as well as a note mentioning the domain you’re trying to get a license for, and the time you attempted to generate a license.
