 * Hello,
 * Here is the link to the csv of which I am trying to import:
 * [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/2/d/e/2PACX-1vSciidIZakiLVJAmKXqiNDjG13cS_do4lkGB8Bn2Ml0jeTaJXiZr15uyIv5d8WKc-Qql58geH4AwTaq/pubhtml](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/2/d/e/2PACX-1vSciidIZakiLVJAmKXqiNDjG13cS_do4lkGB8Bn2Ml0jeTaJXiZr15uyIv5d8WKc-Qql58geH4AwTaq/pubhtml)
 * As you can see, the 2nd row does indeed indicate the data types “string” and “
   number”, and the rows below are indeed of corresponding types.
 * When selecting to import from URL, I am given the popup error:
 * “Invalid data types detected in the data type row (2nd row). Please try again.”
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Finvalid-data-types-error-despite-being-valid%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hi [@magnifier7536](https://wordpress.org/support/users/magnifier7536/),
 * Thanks for choosing Visualizer!
 * I checked this with the [default data set](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vRzM8IcSMVtD4j0wjRssYuXBvSEOwPREgarTC-edOP04r40IZZ4bUEiEd2XGqGNoLik6FLdCofinjA0/pubhtml)
   and I was able to import the data from a Google Sheet as expected, I didn’t get
   any errors. When importing the data from a Google Sheet, please make sure to
   share the file in the correct manner, as a CSV file – [documentation](https://docs.themeisle.com/article/607-how-can-i-populate-data-from-google-spreadsheet),
   or errors like this one may occur.
 * I hope this helps!

 * Hi [@luciamarinescu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/luciamarinescu/),
 * Thank you for the reply. I don’t mean to sound defensive, but why not try replicating
   the error with the dataset I provided? I have already read the documentation
   and made clear of such. The data is in the exact same format as your example.
 * Can you please see if using the data I provided works on your end?
 * Here it is again:

 * Hi [@magnifier7536](https://wordpress.org/support/users/magnifier7536/),
 * Thank you for using Visualizer.
    I checked your thread, and it still doesn’t
   look like you followed the documentation our colleague shared.
 * If you check the file that you provided as an example:
    [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/2/d/e/2PACX-1vSciidIZakiLVJAmKXqiNDjG13cS_do4lkGB8Bn2Ml0jeTaJXiZr15uyIv5d8WKc-Qql58geH4AwTaq/pubhtml](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/2/d/e/2PACX-1vSciidIZakiLVJAmKXqiNDjG13cS_do4lkGB8Bn2Ml0jeTaJXiZr15uyIv5d8WKc-Qql58geH4AwTaq/pubhtml)
 * It’s not a CSV file so it won’t work. You need to create a shared file that is
   exported as CSV for the file to work with Visualizer, and this is what our documentation
   explains:
    [https://docs.themeisle.com/article/607-how-can-i-populate-data-from-google-spreadsheet](https://docs.themeisle.com/article/607-how-can-i-populate-data-from-google-spreadsheet)
 * Here is an example of your file created correctly by following the documentation
   above:
    [https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTZL0O9HxLpZYhogHLIGC-g0_vIKhDYFiiJn3DGZxlJO9GRHBlKDqpZg00mz6ctMyYm-bX4BohhqCB6/pub?output=csv](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vTZL0O9HxLpZYhogHLIGC-g0_vIKhDYFiiJn3DGZxlJO9GRHBlKDqpZg00mz6ctMyYm-bX4BohhqCB6/pub?output=csv)
 * You’re making it as a **CSV** file on **Step 4** in the documentation.
 * I hope it helps!
