# Invalid Date Error Message for Predefined format

 * Hello,
 * i changed the date field to “Predefined format” and Date format “29.08.2022”.
   When i picked i date (29.09.2022), it shows the error message “Invalid date.”
 * Then i switched on “Enable HTML5 Input Field” and picked a date (“31/08/2022”)
   it shows the same error.
 * But i can save the settings.
 * Can you help me?

 * I removed the Year range: “0:+5” and no error appears.
 * Why it shows a other date format, when i enable the HTML5 Input?

 * Thanks for letting us know. So in any configuration, if you set a year range 
   the error shows?

 * Yes, everytime i put something into the year range, i get this error.

 * I just tested this locally and cannot reproduce your issue.
    Can you share your
   full field configuration with me? Do you see error information in the browser
   console?
