# Invalid image encoding [image link]

 * Hi
 * Set up the feed using the plugin and it worked really well for a week or so, 
   but now showing ‘Invalid image encoding [image link]’ error on all products- 
   not sure why.
 * An example of the error showing the product link in place of the image link, 
   but in the plugin the image_link is set to Featured Image.
 * Any help or advice wil be much appreciated.

 * Strange. Have not heard that before. Is the error only on the image_link element?

 * Thank you for the reply, yes, that seems to be the only error that affects all
   of the products – there are some other minor errors to do with product availability
   but I don’t think they are related.
 * There’s an Optimisation tool on the website that optimise images and also general
   WebP versions of the image, I don’t know if that makes any difference?

 * Is it possible to temporary deactivate the optimisation tool and regenerate the
   feed to check if that makes any difference?

   an affect on the feed?

 * It didn’t seem to make any difference, but I deleted the existing feed on Google
   Merchant and then added again, it seems to be working now, so hopefully it will
   stay that way.
