Invalid JSON

    I have started to get an error message on a site scan.

    I have narrowed it to the REST API.

    The only instance I can find to any API is in my payment settings.

    Does this plugin use that api?

    If not I will disable it, run a test then delete.

    Thanks.

    The message is

    • An error occurred while running the scheduled site scan on Family Roots:
    • Error Message: Invalid JSON.
    • Error Code: invalid_json

    Hello @johndt,

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Our plugin does not use the WordPress REST API, so it’s unlikely that it’s the cause of the invalid_json error you’re seeing during the site scan.

    We recommend proceeding with your test by disabling the plugin temporarily to confirm. If you find that the issue persists even with the plugin disabled, the source may lie elsewhere — such as a theme or another plugin that interacts with the REST API.
