InvalidStateError: Transition was aborted because of invalid state wordpress

Hey team, big fan of this!

On my site, I have Sentry error logging so I can see quite a lot of details, recently, we saw a big uptick in the error: InvalidStateError: Transition was aborted because of invalid state. This is happening mostly on Chrome (66% is Chrome Mobile 146.0.0, another 20% is Chrome desktop 146.0.0). It happens across all pages on my site.

I don’t really know where to start with this issue, is it something a safety mechanism in this plugin could solve?

For reference, we’ve had this bug since July 23, 2025, but the uptick only started around March 15, 2026 (which coincides with when Chrome 146.0.0 was released).

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!
