IP Address Whitelisting

    I’ve installed the plugin and just one question – in order to connect remotely to a database on another server, I have to have my IP whitelisted. Now my question is for the plugin, would I have to have to whitelist the server IP that I am connecting from?

    Hi @mommaroodle,

    The plugin whitelists the IP address you connect with during activation. This process is done automatically. You don’t have to do anything manually.

    If you plan to connect to your account from multiple servers, additional servers are not automatically whitelisted. In that case you can use the contactform on the plugin website to send us the necessary information to whitelist additional ip addresses. Please be aware that ip addresses that are not whitelisted are banned for 72 hours after 5 failed login attempts.
