# IPN error

 * The site is located at [http://writersfest.bc.ca](http://writersfest.bc.ca) but
   the site installation is actually in [http://writersfest.bc.ca/content](http://writersfest.bc.ca/content)(
   only index.php in the home directory).
 * Following the instructions in the plugin paypal settings, I set the IPN to [http://writersfest.bc.ca/content](http://writersfest.bc.ca/content).
   They are getting ipn failure notices from PayPal. Unsure what the problem is.
   I’m having trouble getting them to test things, and would like this off my desk.
   If I set the IPN to [http://writersfest.bc.ca](http://writersfest.bc.ca) will
   it go through? This is counter to what the instructions say…
 * I have temporarily disabled ipn notices until this is fixed, but they want email
   after payment.

 * The free version does not use IPN. However the pro version does, are you using
   the free or pro version?
