# IPN issues

 * Hi there
 * We are using paypal for payments.
    In paypal, I have IPN enabled and its using
   the URL: [https://www.domain.com/?wc-api=WC_Gateway_Paypal](https://www.domain.com/?wc-api=WC_Gateway_Paypal)(
   obviously with the correct domain name)
 * But for some reason – its not working. I have just enabled IPN logging on WP,
   and will see what it says.
 * But in the meantime, in the Paypal IPN history page, i can see the attempt being
   made to send the IPN message. It says the “HTTP response code” = 404
 * But when i manually try the URL, it works, and i get a message saying “PayPal
   IPN Request Failure” (which makes sense, seen as i am am just loading the page,
   not sending all the parameters).
 * UPDATE, i just saw in the IPN history item, that the URL that is being used is
   in fact: [https://www.domain.com/wc-api/WC_Gateway_Paypal/](https://www.domain.com/wc-api/WC_Gateway_Paypal/)
   
   i dont know why it would be using this – its not what appears in the URL field,
   as stated above. This URL -https://www.domain.com/wc-api/WC_Gateway_Paypal/ indfeed
   does not exist and throws a 404. So my question is why Paypal would be using 
   this URL. could there be a forwarder or something from my original URL to this
   one? I dont see that happening when accessing the original URL manually.
 * PS: as a result of the site not receiving notification about payment, the pending
   order is then automatically cancelled. which is obviously not what i want, especially
   seen as the order *was* really paid, just not IPN’d successfully.
 * Can anyone suggest something?

 * Was anyone able to get an answer to this? I am having the same problem and have
   been getting the emails from PayPal for 1t least two weeks now
