Recent Posts Widget With Thumbnails does not provide a shortcode to add in posts or pages. But, you can use shortcodes with my plugin Ultimate Post List (https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/ultimate-post-list/). I guess this plugin will help you to achieve your goal.
