 * Hello,
 * I do not have this plugin but I am interested in using it to display a promo 
   code in a post on for a limited time and then hide the promo code. I was wondering
   if someone viewed the source of the page if they would see the promo code.

 * No, if the content is hidden, it is not shown at all in the source code. It will
   only be visible (both on the site and in the source code) when your shortcode
   tells it.
