# Is “http vs. https” the reason Username Field not showing in Browsers?

 * Greetings,
 * [Here is a graphic](https://snag.gy/2wZQ4m.jpg) showing my settings and what 
   I get in various browsers (including the most up-to-date versions of Firefox,
   Chrome, Edge).
 * Is the reason that the USERNAME FIELD is missing because the site is not Hyper
   Text Transfer Protocol Secure?
 * If so, I will make arrangements with the hosting company to make changes.
 * If not, what am I missing in the plugin’s setup?

 * Are we getting _only a password field_ on pages that are not related to the site’s
   Admin Panel?

 * No, There is no issue of HTTPS. You are using a plugin naming `Password Protected`
   that protects your WordPress site content. You should need to enter a password
   to see the site while USERNAME field is showing/working perfectly on [Login Page](http://goddessprojects.com/2/wp-login.php).

 * Actually, uninstalling _your_ plugin and using a different one has CLEARED everything
   for ME and MY site.
