Is some delay in stats reporting normal?

    Hi,
    I’ve connected Site Kit with Analytics and Search Console.

    I noticed that the stats inside WordPress don’t always match real-time data and sometimes seem delayed.

    Just checking if this is expected behavior or if I should review any settings.

    Hello @deandrmorrow, thanks for getting in touch. I’d be happy to help you with your query about delayed data in your dashboard.

    Site Kit uses the Google Analytics Data API, which won’t display data in real time, or as fresh compared to analytics.google.com, although there shouldn’t be a large difference as data is shown up to the previous day. You’ll find more more about how fresh data is by visiting this guide.

    This isn’t uncommon that data won’t match exactly as it appears within Site Kit. Unfortunately there is no way to speed up the data, given it would require changes to the API in use, which is outside of our control.

    Let me know if you have any questions with the above or if you feel the data is much more out of date than it should be and I’ll be happy to troubleshoot this further with you.
