I would like to know if the review form, strings like “Comment” or “Rate website, customer service and delivery” etc can be translated using loco or polylang plugins? In polylang the strings do not display. There are some strings which work fine, but they are related to email message sent to the customer, which display in polylang. But the strings from the front end review form don’t show up.
And in loco plugin (in translations) they do display in wp dahsboard of loco plugin, but the translations do not show up on front end for some reason.
Thank you

The point is that the site is using polylang (and loco plugin) and the default language is not English, but the 2nd language. But front end Customer Review Form is in English.
And when using loco to translate dashboard interface for this plugin, those strings are displayed in the default language (eg. Enable for Role), that is not English. The issue is for those strings which are part of the front end template (review form).

It is a WordPress plugin, so it can be translated with Loco translate. We will create a tutorial to show how to translate our plugin with Loco translate. I will share a link to the tutorial when it is published.
Great, thank you. It is a great plugin. This is the only small issue I encountered.
I suppose it should work somehow, as for other plugins I don’t have this problem. Maybe I am missing something.
These are some of the strings (including “Display name”, “Submit” or “By submitting your review …..” texts) from front end which are not displayed on front end in the chosen language, even if in loco plugin they are translated. Initially I thought these would be seen in polylang plugin string translations.
Thank you again and looking forward to receiving that link with the tutorial.
Basically if i want the site to be just in the default language, let’s say Spanish, the front end review form will be in English, right?
I still need loco plugin translation to translate those strings (or manually translating the po file), right? It it not a matter of multi language site.
Please let me know how to proceed to make sure I can have the front end itself in other language than in English.
Thank you for the tutorial. I tried all these myself without success.
The only way it is working 100% , I mean for all strings, not just for some of them (like Display Name in the form, which did not work before) is to use System path (see attachment), not Author path for po file path. For Author path it worked only partially, for some of the strings. Not sure the reason
