   the Shortcode-Version does not need a WP-Rest API. But the JCI-Block adds
   two nodes to the WP-Rest API. If the WP-Rest-API is deactivated, the JCI-Block
   might not work.Then you might use the JCI-Block on an internal dev-site with 
   WP-Rest active, and copypaste the generated Shortcode to the live-site without
   WP-Rest.Bernhard
