# wp-admin/upload.php 403 error – Can't access media tab on dashboard

 * I just completed a fresh install of WordPress 4.3 in my test environment, when
   trying to access wp-admin/upload.php (aka. the media tab on the dashboard) I 
   am presented with a 403 error, any suggestions? It is running on LAMP Stack using
   Ubuntu 4.3.

 * Just to clarify this means I can’t access any of the media library, it allows
   me to upload media, and it will upload successfully, however when I try to follow
   the file URL, it gives me a 403 error message

 * Has no-one else had this problem occur before, i’m thinking it may be a server-
   side issue as we tried another fresh install with a new database and still can’t
   fix the issue.
