    Hey Antoine,

    I have an issue with assigned points. The players het more points then they should. What’s going wrong and how to solve it?

    There were two matches in Round 1. First Match they received 9 points without set the multiplier. 2nd Match they received 18 points with the multiplier. See screenshot below from a player.

    In former seasons max. points with same settings were per Match 8 points, I though. Is something changed?

    I didn’t change any of these Plugin Settings, by the way.

    The settings for goal difference bonus have changed, but according to your settings, the score should still be 8 for the matches (or 16 with multiplier). For some reason, the plugin thinks that you have the third option (“Voor volledige scores en toto-scores, inclusief gelijke spelen”) activated. Because with that setting, you are also awarded the 1 point for goal difference.

    Can you try setting the first option (klassieke regel), saving the options and then doing a new calculation?

    You wrote that “The settings for goal difference bonus have changed”.
    What is changed? Where can I find the changes?
    Because when it’s changed I need to update my Game explanation.

    Can you tell me what changed?
    I think I know; earlier some points were not awarded when a different points rule applied, or so.

    Can you tell what the maximum of points per match can be awarded to a player, with the rule “Regels voor de doelpuntverschilbonus” set based on the following settings:

    Volle Score * 6 points
    Toto score * 2 points
    Goalbonus * 1 point
    Bonus voor goalverschil * 1 point

    – “Alleen voor toto-scores, maar geen gelijke spelen (klassieke regel)”
    – “Alleen voor toto-scores en inclusief gelijke spelen”
    – “Voor volledige scores en toto-scores, inclusief gelijke spelen”

    De volledige uitleg van de scores staat in de help-pagina in de admin. Maar het komt er feitelijk op neer dat in de eerdere versies een doelpuntverschilbonus alleen werd toegekend als je een toto-score had. En daarbij mocht de wedstrijd niet eindigen in een gelijkspel.

    Omdat die regel best onlogisch was, heb ik in het verleden wel eens verzoeken gekregen om dit te wijzigen en dat kon dan alleen middels een extension op de plugin.

    In de nieuwere versies kan je kiezen welk gedrag je voorkeur heeft en is zo’n extension dus niet meer nodig om de doelpuntbonus aan te passen (tenzij je nog een ander logica wilt 😉).

    De oude setting is echter nog steeds mogelijk (dat is de eerste optie, de ‘klassieke regel’).

    Wat vreemd is, is dat de setting geen verschil maakt bij jou. Heb je wellicht een extension actief die de score manipuleert?

    Now you’re making me think.
    These are the plugins installed; activated/de-activated.
    The plugin Football Pool Change Score is activated.

    After de-activating the Football Pool Change Score plugin, the scores are now okay, I think.
    For some reason it has been activated.
