Since it also affected the site layout, I believe it is just the cache. If you are using a cache plugin, please clear it whenever you do a plugin update. If you are not using any cache plugin but your server has a built-in cache feature, or you are using CDN, then please clear the cache.

Have you tried clearing the site cache and/or Regenerate CSS & Data from Elementor > Tools?
