# issue when create tab with shortcode aff url

    first I created page and I added to it [affiliate_referral_url] then I
   created new tab and I linked this page to it
 * the issue that affilaite url appear like
    [https://mysite.com/affiliate-area/ref/8/?tab=myaffiliate](https://mysite.com/affiliate-area/ref/8/?tab=myaffiliate)
   in stead of [https://mysite.com/ref/8/](https://mysite.com/ref/8/)
 * so would you please advise how to avoid that ?
