# Issue With CAtegory Posts Widget

 * For some reason after using it on several sites I cannot get the category posts
   widget to function on a new site.
 * The issue is when I got into the widget area to configure none of my categories
   are showing up in the drop down to select the category I want to filter by…
 * Any ideas?

 * I have two categories right now…they show in the word press dashboard. But when
   I add the category posts widget OR the standard categories widget, it shows “
   no categories”.
 * Ideas?
