 * Hi Voltronik,
 * My users submit custom post types with Gravity Forms.
    These CPT are submited
   as ‘pending review’ and BNFW sends them a email notification once their post
   is published.
 * I haven’t add any issue with this, until I tweaked the process slightly.
    User
   can now edit the custom fields of their published post (also with GF) without
   having to go through the review again, i.e. the status of their post remains ‘
   published’.
 * The issue is now that they receive a notification that their post has been published
   as soon as they have submitted their new custom fields. As the post was already
   published, it makes no sense for users to received such instant notification.
 * I have tested with ‘normal’ posts and the issue does NOT arise.
    So it is likely
   an issue with any of the following plugins required to update cpt with GF: -https://
   wordpress.org/plugins/gravity-forms-post-updates/ -https://wordpress.org/plugins/
   gravity-forms-custom-post-types/
 * Is there a way for BNFW to ensure that post status have transitioned from draft,
   pending, etc. to published before the plugin sends a ‘new cpt published’ notification?

 * Hi maelga,
    Thanks for your message.
 * It sounds like the Gravity Form add-on that you’re using is re-transitioning
   the post from publish, back to something else, then back to publish again. BNFW
   handles it in one direction but can’t detect if it’s doing it multiple times.
 * Do you know what process it goes through when you edit a custom field?
 * Thanks,
    Jack
