# Issue with HTTPS

 * Plugin recently stopped working and the culprit seems to be that we recently 
   changed everything to HTTPS.
    The request field seems to default to http? Which
   means that all our https urls now do not redirect… If I manually enter the full
   address then the redirect works fine. This is not ideal though.
 * I need to be able to set the default to https, but I can’t find a way to configure
   this plugin at all!

 * I just discovered the same issue.
 * I solved the problem by simply putting the full url paths in the fields like 
   so :
 * Request – [http://www.yoursite.com/old-page-bla-bla-bla](http://www.yoursite.com/old-page-bla-bla-bla)
   
   Destination – [https://www.yoursite.com/new-page-bla-bla-bla](https://www.yoursite.com/new-page-bla-bla-bla)
 * Not ideal I know but at least it works. I have not tested it with Wildcards yet
   though.

 * Yep that works. If it helps, the actual cause of my problem was that we had failed
   to update the WordPress root settings when we moved to HTTPS…. 🙂
    Needed to 
   update this field.. ‘Site Address (URL)’ found in the main site settings.
