# Issue with install.php

 * Fatal error: Failed opening required ‘//wp-settings.php’ (include_path=”) in //
   wp-config.php on line 25
    Cany anyone help? I tried removing the / from ABSPATH,
   changing the path around to various things, and have gotten nowhere. I’ve never
   coded PHP, so please explain as such. Thank you.

 * Can you let us know what versions of PHP, mySQL you’re using ? Can you share 
   your website’s URL with us so we can examine your phpinfo.php output ?

    Searching for ‘failed opening required’

    MySQL 3.23.52 wordpress-1.0.1-miles PHP Version 4.2.3 It seems to
   have problem with these two lines of code: define(‘ABSPATH’, dirname(__FILE__).’/’);
   require_once(ABSPATH.’wp-settings.php’); Please help!

   $wpdb->show_errors(); —————————— Step 2: run install.php (you will get many errors
   on top of page, but don’t mind it.) Step 3: Finish install.php. You will get 
   a login name and password. Step 4: Restore step 1 code. Step 5: It’s successed
   installed. 😛 My english is poor, sorry. Hope this post can help you.
