 * Hi, when I activate Redis Object Cache Plugin with The Events Calendar (I pay
   for Pro) and I navigate to the Events page I get an error saying “something great
   is coming”. I turn off Redis and it runs fine.
 * All my plugins are up to date. Have you heard of any clashes with REDIS?
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fissue-with-redis-object-cache%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)
   to see the link]_

 * Hey [@o0craigb0o](https://wordpress.org/support/users/o0craigb0o/)
 * Thank you for reaching out.
    Yikes! Let’s work on fixing this.
 * I believe that what’s going on is that certain caching settings are not playing
   nicely with our plugin. The good news is that the solution is usually a few tweaks
   away.
 * Most of the time, it’s all about excluding some URLs from minification or caching.

   To get a sense of how that works on the most popular caching plugins, I would
   recommend taking a look at some of our Knowledge Base articles on caching: [https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/?s=cache&post_type%5B%5D=tribe-knowledgebase&submit=](https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/?s=cache&post_type%5B%5D=tribe-knowledgebase&submit=)
 * Let me know how that goes!

 * Ok so I implemented all those changes and alas..same issues I’m afraid. Any other
   ideas?

 * Hi there,
 * Thanks for reaching out.
 * We are not aware of any current issues with Redis Object Cache.
 * Did this problem start after any plugin updates from our end?
 * Best regards,
 * Marho

 * Yes it did.
 * It looks like I may need to put memcache onto the site and see where i get with
   that.
