Issue with sorting

Hi

I don’t know what I am doing wrong with the sorting, but I cannot get to display the newest pictures on top of my galleries. I upload photos in bulk of few, as I am trying to show an interior photographed from few angles. I cannot afford to drag and drop every time I upload new photos, because every single time I upload a bulk of few new photos to the library, they get randomly mixed.

When I open the library, the sorting options are these:

But in the Global Settings of the plugin, you do offer “Date” as one of the “Order by” options.

I selected “Date” and “Descending” just to test this, and left the individual Gallery sorting at “Default”, but this did nothing for me whatsoever.

Appreciate your help because I’ve spent way too much time on trying to get to work – what I believe is – a basic requirement from a library, i.e. display the most recent photos on top of the library.
