Issue with use in text widget

    (I am working on XAMPP, so I cannot give you a link to my test site!)

    I am using the Illdy template with a fixed front page. I want to show the logo carousel in one of the widgets of this front page. To do so I use a text widget in which I put the text [logo-carousel id=default].
    When I show the page in my browser, I just see the text “[logo-carousel id=default]” , but no logo carousel.

    When I do exactly the same on another page, the carousel does show.

    Whaat can be the problem?
