Ìssues displaying Elementor elements in Storefront

Hi everyone,

I’m currently setting up my first e-shop with Woocommerce, using the Storefront template that I’m customising with a few widgets and such.
I’ve used Elementor to make a custom front page, which worked successfully until a few days ago, when for some reason, some of the elements stopped showing or didn’t show properly anymore:

– the big image on top is supposed to be full width, but it doesn’t want to anymore. I’ve set the page template to full width and done the necessary in Elementor as well but it just doesn’t work.

– a little bit under, after the first range of 8 products, there should be a video playing in loop in the background behind the white text. This used to work, but now it doesn’t anymore. – All the way down, next to the “Like what you see” paragraph, there’s a slider with images, it doesn’t display anymore either.

I’ve ben in contact with people at Elementor to try and solve this, we’ve looked in everything that could possibly be wrong on that side but it seems like the issue is theme-related, as everything displays normally again when I pick another theme. You might say Storefront is maybe not compatible, but it is, I’ve seen it work, that’s what drives me crazy 🙂

Oh and I’ve tried deactivating all plugins except Elementor and that doesn’t change anything either.

It would give me great satisfaction to fix this issue as I’m not the kind of person who will give up, so I hope some of you feel like looking into this and will be inspired by the puzzle it is 🙂
