    Hey Business Directory team! Thanks again for an awesome plugin. We’re having issues calling and echo’ing the Custom Field values we have on some of our listings. Do you have a recommendation for how to display custom fields on the frontend?

    Thank you for reaching out about this. I’m Garret from the customer success team and I’m sorry to hear that you’re having a problem here. I’ll be happy to help!

    You should be able to choose where the field is displayed in your form field settings. To do this, go to Directory > Directory Content > Form Fields, then find and click Edit on your field. From here, you can find two options.

    • Show this value in excerpt view?
    • Show this value in listing view?

    That’s exactly what I needed, thank you so much. In the support documentation, I had been searching for custom metadata and didn’t find this topic of form fields. Much appreciated!
