# Issues with PHP version > 7.4 ?

 * I just recently updated PHP on my webserver from v7.4 to v8.0.
 * That had the impact, that the pages on greenfilmnet.org (where BP Profile Search
   is implemented) didn´t load.
 * There was just a white screen.
 * Does BP Profile Search have any known issues with newer PHP versions?

 * I’m not aware of PHP 8.x problems with BP Profile Search.
 * I suggest the following:
 * 1) Try temporarily deactivating BP Profile Search, and see if your site works
   properly without it;
 * 2) If so, please paste here the BP Profile Search debug info (see [https://dontdream.it/bp-profile-search-5-4-6/](https://dontdream.it/bp-profile-search-5-4-6/)
   for details).

 * With PHP v8.0, the site had a problem (like described above) on pages, where 
   BP Profile Search is included – after deactivating BP Profile Search the site
   works properly.
 * FYI: I set PHP back to v7.4 in the mean time.

 * I’m unable to replicate this issue.
 * Could you temporarily switch to one of the default themes (e.g. Twenty Twenty-
   Two) and see if your site works properly with PHP 8.0?
