# Issues/bug with update_usermeta() function

 * Using the update_usermeta() function to add some user optins in WP 2.0.1 I am
   getting some unexpected (for me) results…
    The function executes fine and the
   data is either inserted or updated depending if it is already in the DB… If the
   data is inserted it returns TRUE but if it is updated it returns FALSE, even 
   though the record is updated correctly… Is this the expected behavior of this
   function, because it is a little misleading?? Thanks
