  • Without even touching it, one day this plugin decided to stop uploading my images, stopped to even add old images I already had in my website to the posts, unexpected errors to the admin area PLUS something about adding extra whitespace.
I’ve spend numerous hours to find the error and that was something the json was calling a mini.css of the tiny! I deactivated and deleted the plugin. Nada, zip, zero. It’s still there – propably in the database or I don’t know where else, because I don’t see it in the plugins- and like the Lazarus still gives errors and I CANNOT work on my website at all. I wish it had minus – 100 stars to vote this plugin. Has happened to me in the past with another website back in 2015 (totally crashed forever) and now 2018 I thought that “the technology and the knowledge has improved, so they will have been improved”. ABSOLUTE NOT. DO NOT download it if you want a healthy running smoothly website.

Hmmmm, perhaps you’ve mixed things up?

I deactivated and deleted the plugin. Nada, zip, zero. It’s still there…

Right, this plugin has nothing to do with uploading or adding images to posts. This is built-in into WordPress itself unless you are using another plugin that “tweak” it.

Did you go through the standard plugins troubleshooting? Disabling all plugins one by one and re-testing? In addition neither this plugin nor WordPress load a file called mini.css. That’s probably added by another plugin or your theme.

I understand your need to “went” a little, but if you really want to solve your site’s problems you should post to the general support forum. Rating down / blaming unrelated plugins won’t help there 🙂

You don’t know what you are saying for sure I can only understand the fact that you don’t want a negative review. I’ve spent numerous hours, I have almost ripped off the website (a 3month work) just to find the exact error: everytime everything was reporting “json erron, could not parse the style.mini.css of the tinymce” (<– in my own words written). And that is causing: error to upload images, error to set feautured images, error to add existing images which I already had in the server BEFORE the installation of tnmce, to posts or pages.
The only way I found today I could upload to my website is throught the wordpress app on my phone which of course is not using at all the plugin, but it uses it’s own mechanism. And everytime I’m trying to remove/delete it, I get the new error “deletion failed”!

@soniaandrianou This isn’t a review as much as a tear on how upset you are. I’m leaving this review but you are right on the edge of being abusive. I’m leaning towards that for these statements.

The author knows more than most how WordPress works and this isn’t the sort of plugin where 1 star reviews do anything to the author or the users. This plugin is a very specific tool and a bad review doesn’t change that.

The author is trying to help you. Please keep that in mind when if you reply and keep it civil.
