It just doesn’t work!

    Anything after 3.2.0 doesn’t trigger the lightbox, just opens the jpeg. Every update is another moment of frustration and time wasted. How could they take such a good product and ruin it, making it more and more complex pointlessly without doing the basic things it used to do is beyond me.

    We are sorry to hear of the encountered issues with the lightbox triggering but since that’s not something replicable from our side of things, we hope that you wouldn’t mind testing for a plugin conflict on the site:

    • Temporarily deactivate all your plugins except NextGen Gallery and NextGEN Gallery Pro.
    • Is the problem solved? Then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please check one by one and find the one causing the problem.
    • If the problem is not solved with the deactivation of the plugins, try changing to a standard WordPress theme, it could conflict with your current theme.

    Note: We recommend performing a full website backup before any troubleshooting.`
