It stopped working after one of the upgrades

    It was working fine about a year ago. Then it stopped doing anything. No mobile/desktop switcher link, no mobile contents, nothing. Removed, reinstalled from scratch, tried on many mobile devices – nothing.

    Sounds like you maybe installed another plugin that was overriding it? Could have been a caching plugin, or Jetpack for WordPress.
