# Javascript display issue with Chrome

 * When I view a slideshow in Google Chrome (any slideshow, including the example
   on the author’s page), the first cycle through looks normal, but subsequent cycles
   have the images shifted down (so only the top half appears, in the bottom half
   of the image window).
 * In addition, if I open a page with a slideshow in Chrome, minimize or background
   the window and do something else, and then go back to the slideshow window, the
   slides cycle through very rapidly, as if “catching up” to the cycle timing.
 * Everything seems to work normally in Firefox and IE, and until recently (maybe
   a week ago), everything worked in Chrome as well. I’m using Chrome 13.0.782.112
   m in Windows Vista, and WordPress 3.2.1. After some Google searching and browsing
   the author’s page, it seems like a common issue, but there’s no thread here yet.
   Is there any ETA on when this might be resolved?

 * I’ve just upgraded to version 2.0.1 of Slideshow Gallery Pro, and I’m still having
   the same issue. In Chrome, the slideshows will cycle through correctly once,
   and then subsequent cycles will only display the top half of each slide, shifted
   down 150 pixels. The slideshow on the author’s page ([http://cameronpreston.com/projects/plugins/slideshow-gallery-pro/](http://cameronpreston.com/projects/plugins/slideshow-gallery-pro/))
   exhibits the same behavior. It seems to work fine in Firefox or IE, but still
   does not work in Chrome.
 * I’m not sure if I understand ozalazar’s post correctly, it appears to be specific
   to a different theme, so I have not tried his suggestions. (I’m using the Twenty
   Ten theme).

 * I upgraded to 2.0.1 and keep having the issue too. You can check it at [http://eilertsen-granados.com/](http://eilertsen-granados.com/)
   The front page carrousel is done with the plugin. In “Transition Style” I’m using“
   Default fade”.

 * I’m not finding a height attribute in my style.css, it sounds like it’s theme-
   specific.
 * In the Twenty-Ten style.css, all I see is:
    #header { padding: 30px 0 0 0;}
 * I guess I’ll just look for another slideshow plugin for now.
