    “Failed to load resource: net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
   adsbygoogle.js”

 * I have deactivated it, but I still get the error. Also, clicking the Ad Check
   button says that the plugin is working fine, but checking Show Adverts only shows
   green rectangles where ads should be.

 * I did what the pinned topic “AdSense Ads Are Not Showing” said (typed “ad1” for
   one of the ads, specifically Ad 3) and checked the front page, and the text “
   ad1” did show.

 * I tried it with Microsoft Edge, which doesn’t have any add-ons, and it still 
   didn’t work. So I guess the problem is with my laptop. Oh well, I guess as long
   as other people can see the ads it doesn’t really matter. Thanks for the help.
 * I will try it with a library computer either today or tomorrow.
