Hi, same with only one of my sites (the rest are ok, but this one does):
https://www.totusfestum.com/
It gives the error with both the “Enable JQuery migrate Helper” plugin active or inactive.
As soon as I press the “ACCEPT ALL” button of the popup, it launches the jQuery error that prevents the popup from closing:
Uncaught SyntaxError: unexpected token: identifier

OK I found it, so i will post the problem that was causing it:
It was related to the Google Analytics tracking code that was being printed by my template options.
As it was configured to be managed by Complianz, i suppose that when I hit the ACCEPT ALL button, it ran the equivalent code that made conflict with the legacy analytics code.
So I removed the analytics code from the theme options and the problem solved.
Hi @kurt0707,
It seems like you have included < img /> tags inside the Complianz Script Center.
Could you remove that part, and let me know if that helps?
Thanks,
Jarno

Hi @jarnovos and @humaniza,
I removed the Facebook pixel code completely and the error still appears.
Hi @kurt0707,
I just tried visiting your site and the Cookie Banner is active now. I also don’t get any more console errors since you removed the code from the Script Center.
Could you try visiting your page in Incognito/Private browsing mode?
Let me know if that works.
Thanks,
Jarno
@jarnovos I know that the banner is working.
But I’ve been curious what the error is about.
Can I just ignore it?
Hi @kurt0707,
The error was related to the <img> </img> lines that were placed in Complianz Script Center. Since you removed these lines, I don’t get any more JavaScript errors in the console while viewing your site.
It is likely that your browser still has the old version cached. If you open a Private browsing/Incognito window and go to your site, the console error should have disappeared.
Hope this helps,
Jarno
