 * Hi,
 * I have Complianz installed on my site and on a subdomain site and on both sites
   I get an Error appeared in Complianz.
    On the main site it says it’s an JavaScript
   Error: **Uncaught_SyntaxError:_Unexpected_identifier in Zeile 1 von** and on
   the subdomain it’s also an JavaScript error: **Uncaught_SyntaxError:_Unexpected_token_'
   <‘ in Zeile 12 von [https://start_howto-marketing_de/impressum/](https://start_howto-marketing_de/impressum/)**

 * Hi, same with only one of my sites (the rest are ok, but this one does):
    [https://www.totusfestum.com/](https://www.totusfestum.com/)
 * It gives the error with both the “Enable JQuery migrate Helper” plugin active
   or inactive.
 * As soon as I press the “ACCEPT ALL” button of the popup, it launches the jQuery
   error that prevents the popup from closing:
 * Uncaught SyntaxError: unexpected token: identifier

 * OK I found it, so i will post the problem that was causing it:
 * It was related to the Google Analytics tracking code that was being printed by
   my template options.
 * As it was configured to be managed by Complianz, i suppose that when I hit the
   ACCEPT ALL button, it ran the equivalent code that made conflict with the legacy
   analytics code.
 * So I removed the analytics code from the theme options and the problem solved.

 * Hi [@kurt0707](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kurt0707/),
 * It seems like you have included < img /> tags inside the Complianz Script Center.

   Could you remove that part, and let me know if that helps?
 * Thanks,
    Jarno

 * Hi [@jarnovos](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jarnovos/) and [@humaniza](https://wordpress.org/support/users/humaniza/),
 * I removed the Facebook pixel code completely and the error still appears.

 * Hi [@kurt0707](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kurt0707/),
 * I just tried visiting your site and the Cookie Banner is active now. I also don’t
   get any more console errors since you removed the code from the Script Center.
 * Could you try visiting your page in Incognito/Private browsing mode?
    Let me
   know if that works.
 * Thanks,
    Jarno

 * [@jarnovos](https://wordpress.org/support/users/jarnovos/) I know that the banner
   is working.
    But I’ve been curious what the error is about. Can I just ignore
   it?

 * Hi [@kurt0707](https://wordpress.org/support/users/kurt0707/),
 * The error was related to the `<img> </img>` lines that were placed in Complianz
   Script Center. Since you removed these lines, I don’t get any more JavaScript
   errors in the console while viewing your site.
 * It is likely that your browser still has the old version cached. If you open
   a Private browsing/Incognito window and go to your site, the console error should
   have disappeared.
 * Hope this helps,
    Jarno
