# Javascript error in latest release

 * it appears that in the latest release there is a javascript error, more specifically
   in wplc_u_node_events.js : in two instances, the variable wplc_elem_trigger_id
   is referenced in the code while it doesn’t exist (even once in a catch block).
   After updating the js to wplc_elem_trigger.id the errors disappear.
 * A second bug is manifesting itself on my site. I have set a class “chatWithUs”
   with a Click event to open the chat window. See General Settings > Advanced Settings.
   If the visitor has not yet initiated a chat, this works great. However, if he
   already started a chat, is waiting for a connection and he then closed the chat
   window, the window is never reopened if he then clicks on an element with that
   class and Click event .

 * Reinstalling latest 8.1.0 will solve the JS error issue, we immediately pushed
   the fix. The other wrong behavior described by [@mcuypers](https://wordpress.org/support/users/mcuypers/)
   will be fixed in next update.
