# Javascript error on page

 * I encountered the following JavaScript errors.
    1. Windows 8 OS, IE 10 installed(
   both Java 32 and Java64 installed) 2. Turning on Debug did not ‘fix’ problem 
   3. A third part control ( Part of the GetMeCooking Recipe Plugin) that is supposed
   to provide a slide show is not working 4. text from Console in F12 debug window:
 * HTML1509: Unmatched end tag.
    resources, line 291 character 175 HTML1512: Unmatched
   end tag. resources, line 307 character 387 SCRIPT438: Object doesn’t support 
   property or method ‘on’ sharing.js, line 50 character 2 SCRIPT438: Object doesn’t
   support property or method ‘on’ resources, line 332 character 3 SCRIPT438: Object
   doesn’t support property or method ‘on’ resources, line 345 character 4 SCRIPT438:
   Object doesn’t support property or method ‘on’ resources, line 357 character 
   5 SCRIPT438: Object doesn’t support property or method ‘on’ resources, line 399
   character 3 SCRIPT5007: Object expected custom.js, line 6 character 1

 * Have you tried:
 * – deactivating **all** plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works,
   re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
 * – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
 * – [resetting the plugins folder](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_to_deactivate_all_plugins_when_not_able_to_access_the_administrative_menus.3F)
   by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause
   problems.
