 * Thanks for creating a new topic, [@superandreescu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/superandreescu/)!
We can imagine how concerning it can be when the Yoast meta box doesn’t load
properly on the post edit screen.
 * Can you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies before restarting
your browser? Then, please check if the issue persists. You may also try a different
   modern browser or another device.
 * If the problem still happens after resetting the browser cache, or when using
another browser/device, it may be due to a conflict with another plugin or theme.
The fastest way to rule out any conflict is to **deactivate all non-Yoast plugins
and switch to a standard theme** like [Twenty Twenty-Two](https://wordpress.org/themes/twentytwentytwo/).
 * Please test this on your development or staging site if you have one. If not,
we recommend using the [Health Check & Troubleshooting](https://wordpress.org/plugins/health-check/)
plugin. This plugin has a troubleshooting mode, which **does not affect normal
   visitors to your site**.
 * If you’re unfamiliar with checking for conflicts, we’d like to point you to a
step-by-step guide that will walk you through the process: [How to check for plugin conflicts](https://yoast.com/help/how-to-check-for-plugin-conflicts/)
 * Let us know the results!

 * Thanks for following up, [@superandreescu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/superandreescu/).
   Just to confirm,
    1. Did the problem still occur in troubleshooting mode when Yoast SEO is the only
plugin active and your theme is on Twenty Twenty-Two?
    2. Did clearing your browser cache and cookies or using another browser make any
       difference?

 * Thanks for your answers, [@superandreescu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/superandreescu/)!
If the problem doesn’t occur in troubleshooting mode, it’s probably caused by
a conflict with another plugin or theme.
 * While in troubleshooting mode, can you please try enabling **one plugin at a
time** until the problem occurs? This way, you’ll be able to identify the conflicting
   plugin.
 * If you activate all your plugins (in troubleshooting mode) and the problem still
doesn’t occur, please switch your theme (from a default WordPress theme) to your
theme and check again if the problem occurs. If the problem only arises when
your theme is active, it means it’s the conflict with your theme.
 * Let us know if you’re able to identify the conflicting plugin/theme.

 * Hi [@superandreescu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/superandreescu/)! I
want to follow up on the problem you were experiencing with Yoast SEO.
    1. Were you able to identify a conflicting plugin or theme? If so, what plugin/
       theme was conflicting?
    2. Did any Yoast-related errors/notices appear in the server’s error log (_debug.
       log_)?

 * I did not identify the problem, I stayed with the older version
 * some fatal error in php 8.1 with **Removing query parameters**

 * Thanks for the additional information, [@superandreescu](https://wordpress.org/support/users/superandreescu/).
We’re still investigating this issue; however, we haven’t been able to reproduce
it yet, which makes it challenging to find a solution. While we’re not able to
replicate it, we need as much information as possible from our users that could
help us diagnose what the problem may be.
 * In this regard, it’d be really helpful if you could provide the following info(
   when you have time):
    - The result of the conflict check
    - List of active plugins and theme
    - Details of the error that appears in debug.log
    - Any failed requests appearing in the browser’s network tab when the problem
      occurs
 * Thanks for your patience and cooperation.

 * yes, it’s a conflict with my custom theme, only when I activate the theme it
   doesn’t work anymore – [lataifas](https://lataifas.ro/)
