# Javascript + formatting from plugins disappear when in front-page.php

 * The Javascript and formatting from certain plugins disappear when I insert them
   as pages on my front-page.php. As individual pages they work fine.
 * It started off with the SiteOrigin Page Builder plugin, and I thought it was 
   a specific plugin problem, but then I had exactly the same problem when I tried
   to get around it with the Tabby Responsive Tabs plugin.
 * There must be a conflict somewhere, but I wouldn’t know where to look for it.
   I checked the Javascript console and it doesn’t give any errors (except for jquery-
   migrate.js, which I have since disabled).

 * Switch to the Twenty Sixteen theme. If the problem no longer occurs, it’s theme
   related.

 * I have my own custom theme – the WordPress themes don’t recognise any of its 
   content so I can’t test it that way unfortunately.
