# Javascript SRC removing "S" from "HTTPS://"

 * Hello. I’m hoping you can help me. I’m not too familiar with this Plug-in but
   I’m working for a client who has it installed.
 * We’re trying to add a javascript file to the footer and something is stripping
   out the “S” in “[https://&#8221](https://&#8221); when the page is rendered by
   the browser.
 * Could this plug-in be causing this?
 * If so, can you please post a solution?

 * I encountered the same issue for a [nonprofit client](http://childhaven.org/)
   with a third-party e-newsletter signup in the footer. HTTPS Plugin appears to
   replace “[https://&#8221](https://&#8221); for 3rd-party-hosted javascript file
   with “[http://&#8221](http://&#8221);.
 * I temporarily resolved the issue by self-hosting the script.
 * Please let me know if there’s an alternative fix.
