# jCarousel

 * Hi,
 * I am migrating a website from ExpressionEngine to WordPress. I am trying to use
   jCarousel to have a carousel of my 5 recent posts that toggle/slide between themselves
   for every 5 seconds. I do have the code for this from my old website. But, in
   WordPress, when I use the same code, the dynamic jQuery for the jCarousel is 
   not getting generated.
    Please let me know if I am missing anything here. The
   error I am getting is this : Uncaught TypeError: Object #<Object> has no method‘
   jcarousel’ What are the possible causes for this error?

 * Thank you for the response.
 * I did include the jCarousel javascript file in the webpage before the script 
   loads. Even then it is not working.
    What else could be the mistake??

 * Hi Andrew,
 * I checked the script tags in my source file. They all are properly closed. Could
   the issue be because of a css error such as lack of space for the carousel images
   or something in that regard?
    I feel I am missing something basic and simple 
   here. Please help me in this regard.

 * I get the following error :
    `Uncaught TypeError: Object #<Object> has no method'
   jcarousel'`
 * This is because the argument passed to the javascript function is of type b.fn.
   init.b instead of o.fn.init.o ? Any idea about whats going wrong here??

 * I got a couple of warnings that are completely unrelated to this. In general,
   if you have the jQuery, jcarousel libraries, the static HTML code and the script
   used to load the dynamic content, the jCarousel should work right? Or do I need
   some thing more than this?

 * I’m going to reinforce my original comment on the supposition that the jCarousel
   JavaScript file isn’t linked or loading in the page, just because this has always
   been the case for me with similar errors.
 * Short version:
    I don’t know the answer.

 * The jCarousel file is opening properly in the browser Developer console? This
   means that it is linked properly right?
