I’ve used the AI assistant and it referred me to this forum. I had two FB profiles that were linked – I believe through Instagram. When trying to connect Jetpack to automatically post to FB, it only showed the wrong account as an option, not my main account.

I did all of the steps of clearing cache, removing Jetpack permissions under “Business integrations,” logging out and restarting multiple times – nothing worked.

I then managed to remove the linked profile and now I get this when trying to link Jetpack to FB: “no accounts or pages found” even after logging into FB and seeing my profile picture in the background of the Jetpack connection page.

The AI assistant said: “The “no accounts or pages found” error suggests there might be a deeper issue with Facebook’s API permissions or your page setup.”

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hey @tflanagan01, happy to advise here. There are a few things that might be going on.

You mentioned profiles a few times here. Are you definitely referring to personal profiles, or are you using that term to refer generically to the Jetpack connection? If you’re referring to personal profiles, note that Jetpack Social can only auto‑post to Facebook Pages, not personal profiles, due to changes Facebook made a few years ago.

If you’re definitely referring to Facebook pages rather than profiles, can you confirm that you’re an Admin of of at least one? In other words: not just a profile, not just an Instagram‑only account, and not only via Business Manager. If not, Jetpack will show “no accounts or pages found.”

    Cheers!

Thanks, Jen. I now only have one personal facebook page and I am the sole account manager on that page, but I still come up with “no accounts or pages found.” I get to the screen that says “continue as Tim?” and when I click on that, I get the error message. Still working on it.

    Hi @tflanagan01 ,

Thanks for the update! When you say “one personal facebook page,” we want to make sure we’re talking about the same thing. Jetpack Social can only connect to a Facebook Page (like a business, brand, or creator page), not a personal Facebook profile. You’d also need to make sure your personal Facebook profile has admin rights to that Page for Jetpack to find it.

I also ran a quick check on your site and noticed the Jetpack connection itself is showing some errors on our end. This could be contributing to the issue. While you’re working on this from Facebook side, could you also try fully reinstalling Jetpack using the steps here?

That should give you a fresh connection, and once that’s done, try connecting to Facebook again. Let us know how it goes!
